Head Trainer Joanna "Joey" Pedroni
Joanna (“Joey”) Pedroni became a Professional hunter/jumper Trainer in August 2007. Joey had been riding continuously with Sonoma Valley stables since 2001. Prior to riding with Ned and Hope Glynn of SVS, Joey apprenticed herself to a priceless mentor, trainer and Dressage competitor Sidley Payne. Sidley Payne is qualified as an international judge and has been judging Dressage for 30 years. Sidley was an alternate for the 1972 U.S. Olympic team and a member of the U.S. team for world championships in Denmark in 1974. When Sidley moved to the East Coase, Joey trained and competed in 3-Day-Eventing for a number of years under Andrea Pfeiffer of Chocolate Horse Farm, where she was taught to combine the Courage of Cross Country, the Precision of Hunter-Jumper, and the Finesse of Dressage.  Her solid Dressage foundation was unique, and that made her very successful.

In her Amateur career as a Hunter/Jumper, Joey Pedroni has some very impressive accomplishments. She was named Best Adult Rider at the Menlo Charity Horse Show, and received multiple year end awards in Jumper and Equitation Divisions. Joey has been Norcal Equitation Classic Champion, in the Top Five in the Menlo Charity Gamblers choice twice, and made top placement in medal finals at Norcal, Hudson, CPHA, and Pickwick. She proudly competed in her first Grand Prix at the Oregon High Desert Classic Horse Show during the summer of 2007 and looks forward to many more. She has a passion for working with all levels of riders and horses, bringing them together to achieve peak performance.  Joey has a goal to instill horsemanship back into the riders of the hunter/jumper sport.  She is excited for her new partnership with Lenny Marconi of Silver Lining and working as a team to help their riders achieve their highest goals.
