Sonoma County is the Second most active Horse-Sport county in the United States. the Petaluma area has many of those Horse-Sport facilities, specializing in English and Western styles of riding. Hunter-Jumper, Dressage, Cross-Country, 3-Day Eventing, and Grand Prix Jumping, are all represented well here for English riders. Cutting, Roping, Reining, Barrel Racing, Bridle, Pleasure, and Trail riding styles are represented well for Western riders. We also have active trainers and riders in the unique specialties of Peruvian Paso, and Vaulting, Horse Racing, and Polo. A map of these training and riding facilities in Sonoma County would be peppered with dots large and small in between the vineyards we are famous for.
Edgemont Farms Equestrian Center is located on the Northern ourskirts of Petaluma, California.

BASIC DIRECTIONS:
Coming TO Edgemont Farms:
Coming from the South on Hwy 101, (this is very fast)
Go past the Petaluma Blvd North/Redwood Hwy exit and take the next exit, Railroad Avenue.
Turn Left on Railroad Ave and go under the Freeway to the end at Stony Point Road
Turn Left on Stony Point Road
Turn Right on Jewett Road (you see Edgemont Farms)
Turn into the gate on your Left
Coming from the North on Hwy 101, (a little indirect, no matter what)
From Santa Rosa, take the first Rohnert Park exit:
You will see a Hotel, Walmart, and Home Depot on the Right Side of the Freeway.
Take the Wilfred Road Exit (just after going under an overpass),
Go straight ahead at the traffic light a mile or two into open spaces
At the first Stop Sign, turn left onto Stony Point Road.
Continue through three stoplights, and past the huge Vineyards on the left.
Go past the only remaining road on the Left (Railroad Avenue),
Turn Right onto Jewett Road (you see Edgemont Farms on the corner)
Turn into the gate on your left
OR if you are South of Wilfred Road, or missed the Wilfred Road exit
Take Gravenstein Hwy 116 Exit and Turn Right
Go out a mile or two
Turn Left on Stony Point Road at the Traffic Light
Go through one stoplight and continue past the huge Vineyards on the Left
Go past the only remaining road on the Left (Railroad Avenue),
Turn Right onto Jewett Road (you see Edgemont Farms on the corner)
Turn lnto the gate on your Left.
OR If you miss the Gravenstein Hwy 116 Exit, the next offramp is 5 miles away at Petaluma Blvd North.
You may experience slower commute traffic in this stretch of freeway AM and PM
Turn Right at this exit (Petaluma Blvd North)
Immediately turn Right at the first traffic light onto Stony Point Road
Continue on Stony Point Road through one traffic light (at Pepper Road)
Turn Left onto Jewett Road (you see at Edgemont Farms on the corner)
Turn into the gate on your Left.
Going FROM Edgemont Farms:
Going to go South on Hwy 101, (this is very fast)
Go out the gate and turn Right onto Jewett Road
Turn Right onto Stony Point Road
At the first Traffic Light, (Pepper Road), take the Left Lane and turn onto the Freeway 101
Going to go North on Hwy 101, (this is fairly fast)
Go out the gate and turn Right onto Jewett Road
Turn Left onto Stony Point Road
At the second Traffic Light (Gravenstein, Hwy 116) Turn Right
Go under the Freeway and Turn Left at the Traffic light and straight ahead onto the Freeway 101
